The Australian Tax Office was a real surprise when I lived there for a while. I think it’s because they have long been used to dealing with people at a distance and perhaps an Aussie dislike for pompous bureaucracy, but their services are really pretty good, including most of their paper forms. The Finanzamt here in Germany could learn a thing or two…

Hi Suze,

I see my rogue counterpart has beaten me to it, Hi Lauren.
Like Lauren, I’m excited to see this blog, lots of nice posts, and a great interview with marc!

I’m a service designer also in Scotland (rainy!) working with a public sector organisation at the moment, and of course, finding it difficult, very adverse to change, perhaps I could pick your brain at some point…

I like simplicity of your presentation, and that it highlights overlap between interaction design and service design, which I will discuss at IxD10. I see you used a service design blueprint my team created. Man, that thing sure gets around.
